Starting points.

Great parks, trails and recreation to keep you going.

Here you can find something for the explorer in us all

Whether you plan to live, work, or visit High Point, you'll find there's plenty to do, see and enjoy — both indoors and out.

For starters, the 5-acre Grove Park features an expansive playing field, filled with the energy of the occasional youth football game, a playground for the climbers, and the iconic heartbeat of the community, the Grove Pool & Cabana.  The exploring doesn't stop here, however. Our community offers more than 200 projected acres of planned parks and open spaces, for adventurers young and young at heart. Thirteen miles of proposed paths and trails link homes and businesses to community centers, parks, transportation and other nearby amenities, creating a connected community like none other.

Combine all of this with 300 days of sunshine, a brilliant blue sky, and one of the most dynamic business economies in the country, and you’ll see why the Denver area and High Point is simply a powerhouse place to live. Add in recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, biking and climbing, and you will be enjoying all the majesty of the Rocky Mountains. Top these explorations off with remarkable educational opportunities at every turn, outstanding professional sports and entertainment options, creative museums and exhibits, and engaging culture and history, and the Denver area becomes unmatched when it comes to all around lifestyle and relocation happiness.

Parks & Trails

Explore the trails and connect in the parks that surround our community.
High Point offers you the ability to leave your car at home and set out on foot, easily reaching various points of interest. The neighborhoods have been designed to incorporate an intricate web of sidewalks, trails and paths that will keep you moving and exploring.

Enjoy more than 200 acres of planned parks and open spaces, as well as 13 miles of proposed paths that will ultimately link homes and businesses to community centers, parks and other nearby amenities like the Second Creek regional trail system. Primarily used for hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing, Second Creek is accessible year-round and connects to the greater Metro-wide trail system.

The 5-acre Grove Park, the heartbeat of the community, offers residents and visitors playing fields, a covered picnic area and playground, with a compelling outdoor space for everyone.

Splash into Summer

For the water enthusiast, High Point sets the bar high with aqua blue fun for everyone.

Our first pool is open in the Grove Park, featuring an outdoor pool with both a separate zero-entry toddler pool for the knee-high waders and a full size pool for swimmers of all ages. This amenity is complete with a cabana area to escape the sun, have a picnic, rest or host a party with friends. The pool is open to all residents from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Gaylord Rockies, with a planned 2017 opening, will feature a resort style indoor/outdoor pool and lazy river with an additional lap pool.
