Great schools, lots of choices.

Where learning takes flight – and soars

Our commitment to education is community-wide, and it is, without a doubt, extraordinarily obvious when you visit High Point Academy, the charter school started in our neighborhood. The Academy is an innovative, tuition-free, PreK-8 public core knowledge charter school, featuring innovative curriculum and an award-winning fitness program. While the school appears to work hardest during the day, The Academy's facilities are also be used to host community classes, meetings and events. The school welcomed their permanent facility in the winter of 2011, with over 500 children making up their student body.

The commitment to education continues with the takeoff of  the experience of the visual arts through our planned Public Arts Program. A variety of artists and their works will be  installed across High Point, as part of our appreciation for Colorado visual public art. Our first installation in TheGrove Park, The Three Feathers, was completed in 2010.

When you're here, you know. Join us at High Point and you'll find yourself learning something new every day.

High Point 's Public Art Program

This innovative program has plans to integrate art into your daily life through creative exhibitions and installments throughout the community. The program will offer unique opportunities for people to enjoy, experience, and appreciate various forms of artwork. Each piece of artwork will be selected by a formal Public Art Committee. Pieces will be exhibited in High Point's neighborhoods, town centers, business parks and various community venues as it grows; in effect, turning the community into a year-round gallery.

Our first installation can be seen in the Grove Park. The Three Feathers pays tribute to the Eagles that flew over the plains of the community in our past and even now. This climbable installation is both fun and whimsical for residents of all ages.
